My name is Reed Harston. Nice to meet you!

Caseiro is the Portuguese word for homemade. I created Caseiro Software to build the software that I want to use every day for my personal and family use. In other words: caseiro software is software I use at home, made at home.

You'll see utilities like a budgeting tool that lets you see your balance every day, to make it easy to say if you can afford to make that purchase today without disrupting your automatic bill payments and getting hit with an overdraft fee before your next paycheck. And a calculator that is always just a keyboard shortcut away so I can make quick calculations while working on that budget.

You'll also see things made to use and play with my kids, including a game (coming soon) that my son came up with all on his own. I hope you enjoy it as much he enjoyed coming up with it. Who knows, we may come up with some more over time. He is pretty creative after all! Whatever it is he comes up with, I want him to know that if he can think of it, he can build it.

In short, Caseiro Software is all about spending time with my family, by making common tasks easier to get done faster, or building things with them.
